Resident Evil VII Comes with Play Anywhere Support on Windows Store

Resident Evil VII is almost here, and while some will be playing it on console, and some will be playing it on PC, there’s a little bit of good news for both parties. The game is now confirmed as a Play Anywhere title, which means that if you buy the PC version on the Windows Store, you’ll also be able to download and play it on your Xbox One, with cross-play for game saves and more, giving you more ways to play.
Of course, this does mean you’ll have to buy the game on the Windows Store, which isn’t ideal, but as much as I hate that store it’s good to see Microsoft putting some real value into buying games there with more Play Anywhere titles. Of course, to get this option, you’ll also need to buy the game under the latest Windows 10, but that’s likely not a big issue for most these days.

We’re really looking forward to playing this game, as it’s quite a departure from the usual gameplay of previous entries in the series as it switches to being an FPS-style game. Are you looking forward to playing Resident Evil VII? Let us know in the comments section below!
