Resident Evil Village To Get 1-Hour Demo Next Month

With the release of the latest Resident Evil Village trailer (which you can check out below), there is clearly more than a little hype starting to build up for this game. And, quite honestly, I’m certainly among the growing crowd of people who are really starting to look forward to this latest addition to the franchise. However, if you are still somewhat on the fence about this game, then we have some potentially excellent news for you.

As part of their showcase announcement, Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Village will receive a one-hour-only free demo of Resident Evil Village that will be released next month!

Resident Evil Village Timed Demo

Like what we saw with the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, Capcom will release a one-hour-only timed exclusive demo of Resident Evil Village. You will have a single hour to play and explore as much as you can. And rest assured, many people will be looking to squeeze as much content out of that as possible!

So, when is the demo out, and where can you check it out? Well, don’t worry, we have that information all ready prepared for you!

When/Where Can I Try The Demo Out?

The Resident Evil Village demo will have a regional release date, and as such, accessing it will vary depending on where you are located. To try and help you out a little, though, we have broken the date/s and times for you below:

  • North America – May 1st – May 2nd – Starts at 5pm PDT
  • Europe – May 2nd – May 3rd – Starts at Midnight GMT
  • Asia – May 2nd – May 3rd – Starts at 8am HKT

The demo will be available to download via both console stores as well as Steam on the PC (which you can check out via the link here). Remember though, it will only be available during the timeslots above and, more so, even when you get it you’ll still only get one hour of playtime. So make sure you use it wisely! You know, by not hiding in a corner in fear of the terrors that await you!
