Nvidia 3090 Ti Retail Listings Confirm Eye-Watering Price Tag!

Following the unveiling of the long-rumoured 3090 Ti at their CES 2022 showcase, to date, Nvidia has remained (somewhat frustratingly) silent on the subject. In fact, their last official news on the 3090 Ti was only to confirm that they had nothing to say about it at the moment. – With its release date rumoured to be scheduled for March 29th, however, anticipation is clearly high for this GPU and especially so in regards to how Nvidia has managed to improve on the already ludicrously potent 3090.

One of the biggest question marks surrounding the 3090 Ti, however, has undoubtedly been placed upon exactly how much it will cost. And following a report via Videocardz, we might have our (rather shocking) answer!

Retailer Lists ASUS 3090 Ti Graphics Cards!

Following a pre-order listing created by a Canadian retailer, two ASUS 3090 Ti graphics card models have been spotted. While the good news is that this is certainly indicative of an upcoming release, it does take something of a downward turn when you see how much these GPUs are going to cost. – Yes, these are custom AIB models, and with prices listed by a retailer in an overall market where things are already pretty significantly inflated. Presuming that this is accurate, however, then it would appear that the 3090 Ti will cost something in the region of $4,600-$5,300.

So, converting this from Canadian Dollars to UK Sterling, which we’ll freely concede is never entirely accurate based on regional differences and logistic costs, we’re looking at around £3,000-£3,500 and possibly even more!

What Do We Think?

Let’s be honest, we always knew that the 3090 Ti wasn’t going to be an ‘affordable’ graphics card. Like the 3090 (or perhaps the Bugatti Veyron as a better example), it has more of the hallmarks of a technical exercise than being representative of a realistic gaming GPU. – With this in mind, we did suspect that the 3090 Ti was probably going to hit the £3,000 mark. With this new information suggesting that this might just be the entry-level cost, with extreme premium models perhaps being closer to the £3,500, or maybe even £4,000, mark… Well, let’s just say that while we expect the 3090 Ti to be an absolutely phenomenal performer, and one well worth checking out, based on its cost, I daresay that most of us are only going to be doing so from a distance!
