Performance

At stock clocks, the BiFrost 240 does a pretty fantastic job, clocking temperatures that are about on par with the NH-D15S at load; no easy task. It’s also our forth cooler CPU cooler to date. Overclocking put it on par with the 240mm cooler from Thermaltake, with Riotoro being a little warmer at load, but generally cooler at idle and gaming loads.

At idle the fans are nice and quiet, although they were a little louder once pushed to load, they’re not overly loud. Our charts do make them look worse, as we’ve tested some pretty darn quiet coolers so far. Surprisingly, overclocking made no impact on the noise levels, so I’ll take that as a bit of a win too.
