Based on our testing of the fan speed, it seems that the fan is regulated almost exactly towards our load testing. As you can see below in 20% power increments, the fan speed will increase.
It’s actually rather impressive to see such consistent fan speeds based on our own testing methodology. In a nutshell, though, it looks like this fan has 3 standard speeds. One for idle, one for mid-load and one for maximum load. Admittedly, that’s not very clever in terms of technology, but it is a practical solution that is nearly infallible.
