Riotoro CR500 Mid-Tower Tempered Glass Chassis Review

A Closer Look – Exterior
With a huge tempered glass window on the left side, the CR500 is already ticking a major box for what we expect in 2018. The black interior works well, but as you would expect, the glass acts like a mirror, although interior chassis lights will fix that up later.
The front panel is simply a massive air vent, which will allow for a huge wall of air. With two pre-installed fans behind it, cooling shouldn’t be an issue. The cover is removable too, allowing you to easily clean the mesh dust filter.
LED Logo
There’s a small Riotoro bull logo on the bottom left too. It’s LED lit when powered up, as are the front fans, so that should look pretty cool. Of course, we’ll see that in action shortly.
Around the back, you’ll find a 120mm fan mount, which comes with a fan pre-installed. There are seven expansion slots, so more than enough room for a couple of graphics cards. Finally, the PSU mount is at the bottom. Overall, all pretty standard stuff.
Tidy I/O
The top features a nicely designed I/O panel. There’s only one USB 3.0 port, but there are two more USB 2.0 ports also.
On the base, four rubber gripped feet provide good ground clearance. There are two clip in mesh filters for the PSU and the HDD area. They’re only cheap filters, but they’ll still get the job done just fine.
