Riotoro is announcing the launch of the latest addition to their Ghostwriter keyboard series called the Ghostwriter Classic. It is their most affordable product in the line yet while retaining many features of the previously released Ghostwriter gaming keyboards. Instead of Cherry MX mechanical switches, the Ghostwriter Classic uses membrane so it is much lower in price. The entire keyboard measures 463.78 x 211.62 x 30.24mm and has a detachable wrist rest, which itself measures 463.75 x 64.42 x 16.93mm.
The volume control is on the upper right hand and uses an analog roller. This is much more convenient for gamers than the use of combo buttons. Directly below it are the multimedia control keys as well as the mute button to the left. All keys are backlit with multi-colored rainbow LED lighting option. Additional functionality comes in the form of two pass-through USB ports in the rear as well.
As for gaming credentials, it may not have full N-key rollover, but its input matrix is optimal for gaming. Up to 25-keys are in a cluster arrangement to prevent any ghosting issues or prevent input registration.
The Riotoro Ghostwriter Classic is now available worldwide in select retailers for only $50 USD.
