Riotoro Morpheus – The Chassis That Changes Sizes?

Riotoro Computex 2018

We’ve seen a lot of crazy chassis over the years, but Riotoro just came up with something pretty unique. Their new Morpheus chassis starts life as an mATX compatible chassis.

That means you can enjoy the compact form factor to suit your needs at that time.

However, you can slide the chassis out, increasing its size, allowing it to support an ATX motherboard, more storage, more GPU, etc.

Of course, this process works in reverse too. How many people need this, I don’t know, but it’s a unique concept and one I’m sure will find its place in the market. It’s a prototype, and it’ll be getting a few tweaks, but we’ll follow this one as it develops.

It’s a fun idea overall, and they’re aiming to produce it in Q4, likely for an early 2019 launch. What do you think, is this something you would buy?

Peripherals

Riotoro doesn’t just make chassis either, and they’ll be pushing their new peripherals to market very soon. This includes a rather gorgeous ultra-wide mouse mat.

Their new GhostWriter keyboards, featuring all the usual luxuries; mechanical keys, RGB lighting, Cherry switches, wrist rest, and more.

PSUs and Cooling

Their ATX PSUs come in up to 80 Plus Gold form factors, delivering up to 1200W, so more than enough choices there for enthusiast and gaming system builds. While their fans, with their uniquely styled housing and LED lighting, look perfect for chassis cooling.

Gaming Mice

Another unique look here with their new AUROX gaming mouse, it’ll be available in both black and white, and features their PRISM RGB lighting.
