Riotoro Onyx 750W Semi-Modular Power Supply Review

Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

This particular model of the Riotoro Onyx series comes with 750 watts of power. In terms of the vast majority of gaming PC’s, that’s more than enough. If you ever did have to push things a little harder though, it does have a little breathing room.

In our OPP testing, we found that the power supply was capable of outputting another 160 watts before the protections kicked into place. We have seen power supplies capable of greater amounts, particularly in the 750w range, but even so this is more than enough to provide you a little buffer should you ever require it.
