Studio Grade Gaming Headset from ROCCAT
ROCCAT has a new gaming headset they are calling the Renga Boost. It is an over-the-ear Stereo type designed for high-quality sound. In fact, ROCCAT claims that these are studio-grade headphones. So users do not need to get separate headphones for their different listening needs.
Inside each ear cup are 50mm neodymium drivers with a 20~20000Hz frequency response and 32Ω impedance. Its padding is also equally large and has an open-back design. This makes it much more comfortable to wear over long periods and is 30% lighter (210g) than other headsets of the same size.
The headsets microphone is built in, but it can rotate up out of the way when not necessary. There is also an in-line remote with volume control and mute control on the ready.
Which Platforms are Compatible with the ROCCAT Renga Boost?
ROCCAT claims both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One compatibility, with separate 3.5mm jacks for the microphone and headphone. It is also compatible with mobile and PCs with 3.5mm audio jacks.
How Much is the Renga Boost Gaming Headset?
The Renga Boost studio grade gaming headset is available now with an MSRP of €59.99 in the EU or $59.99 in the US.
