Final Thoughts
I do really like this headset; however I am not fully convinced by it. Yes they are good, extremely good, but there is a price and for once we’re not talking money (yet). If these were a little bit lighter and smaller and produced a similar surround experience then I would have no problems with saying they are amazing, but as they stand I feel that they have missed a few tricks to make them truly worthwhile for this size.
They are comfortable and they do certainly have a lot more features than most on the market. The desk remote is useful but it does try to take over your computer. If you have these headphones it is nigh on impossible to use desktop speakers as well you at least need to have an audio splitter and even then they won’t work well together. So they put you in this position where you either have to have speakers or a headset. That said, if you watch lots of movies on your own or want to be fully immersed into a game then these are certainly amazing for that. Yes they are large and will take up tonnes of space but they do what they say they do very well. The surround sound is realistic and the sound quality is stunning and can only be rivalled by high-performance speakers.
I conclude that these will certainly be loved by a large proportion of computer users and especially in the gaming market but there will be a few people out there who don’t get on with them due to the size.
I also feel that this headset is priced quite well they give you a lot of features and quality for your money while still being priced under £70.
