Gaming peripheral maker Roccat is announcing the launch of a unique gaming headset called the Khan Pro. It is different from the rest since it is the first gaming headset to be certified for Hi-Res audio. It boasts a frequency range from 20 Hz to 40 kHz, so it has plenty of room for audio nuance. The build-in microphone is above its class as well, able to pick-up with a range of 100Hz to 10kHz. This greater range allows the headset to faithfully capture the user’s voice before it transmits online. This microphone can also be rotated up out of the way when not in use for convenience.
The Khan Pro is available in black, grey or white and is built for comfort. It is lightweight so with soft padding at the top, so users can wear it for long gaming sessions. There is also volume controls right on the ear cup itself, so there is minimal disruption when adjusting. The cable is also pre-sleeved and braided so that it is resistant to kinks or damage over time.
The Roccat Khan Pro should be available in all channels by early October 2017. Surprisingly, it is very affordable at only $99 USD. This is a nice step-up feature wise from the Roccat Cross which had a $69 MSRP for only a little more.
