Roccat Khan Pro Hi-Res Headset Review

How Much Does it Cost?
The Roccat Khan Pro Hi-Res Gaming Headset is available now for just £76.77. It’s actually been on the market for quite a while now, having actually launched at around £100, so it’s a better deal than it has ever been. If you want it in white, which I think looks even better, it’s just £78.95. In the US, the grey or white versions are $76.99 and $86.78 respectively.
Overview
We recently reviewed the Roccat Noz headset, which at just £60, was pretty darn impressive. However, at just £76.77, the Khan Pro is worth every bit extra, if you can afford it. It’s certainly not an expensive headset, but it’s not budget either. You really do get what you pay for though. Those powerful hi-res drivers alone are worth every penny and really put the magic back into your movies, music and gaming.
Performance
In terms of raw performance, the Khan pro is hard to beat at this price range. Looking at other brands, you can drop £150 to £250 on rival brands Hi-Res models for the same audio performance. The ASUS Delta, SteelSeries Arctis Pro, for example. For pure bang for buck, Roccat are really killing it here.
Design
It’s not the best looking headset on the market, I’ll admit that, but it’s not exactly ugly either. Function over form is true here though, and Roccat has made a super light, super comfortable, durable and practical headset. If I could tweak the design, I’d give it a detachable microphone and remove the silver decals. Do these things stop it from performing great though? Not one bit.
Should I Buy One?
If you want premium performance at half the price of all the major rivals, the Roccat Khan Pro is the way to go. At under £100, you’re not going to find anything that sounds better, and that’s a fact. Easily one of the best performing headsets we’ve tested in ages. Highly recommended, especially the slick looking white version.
