Roccat Kone XTD Gaming Mouse Review
From the front of the box we see that the Kone XTD comes in a really slick looking package with a fantastic image of the mouse as well as a run down of some of it’s major features. We have a 8200DPI laser, Easy-Shift+, Multi-Colour lighting and TDCU Ultimate tracking on the left hand side of the box, as well as some labled icons in the bottom right for the pro aim senson, integrated TDCU, 4 LEd light system, drivers & macros, meight system and Roccat talk.
There is even more information on the reverse, with another great image of the Kone XTD which is clearly labled to highlight the major features and functions, such as the braided cable, DPI swtich and Easy Shift Button.
The box also folds out to give us a great view of the mouse its self, as well as even more details on the features and design of the Kone XTD.
In the box I found a straight forward multi-language setup guide as well as a small box containing four 5g weights.
ROCCAT do indeed make the best mice in the world. A little more pricey than other brands but not ridiculously so. Deserves top honours. I’ve been using the Kone [+] for more than 2 years now & I love it even though it’s ever so slightly big for my hand. I’m looking forward to getting my mitts on the Pure.
Well put it this way… the Kone XTD is still being used since the review and I can’t see me giving it up any time soon 😀
it’s not that good looking 😛
Style is such a subjective quality, to my eyes it’s a stunner 😀
could you do a review on the roccat kone pure? hesitant which one to buy until i see a good review on both 🙂
Me too.
I’ve just finished testing the Pure. Needless to say my supplier is never going to see it again. It’s that good. The smaller profile suits my smaller hands perfectly. Once I’ve finished testing the XTD it too will probably end up in my collection.
