First impressions of the Kone XTD are good, the overall style looks fantastic and the ergonomics look promising. The black finish with the silver logo detailed over the body of the mouse really makes it stand out from the crowd.
Down the left side we see a nice recess area on the left which also features the “Roccat Kone XTD” logo on the bottom left. On the left side we have our usual forward and back keys.
From the front of the mouse we have a function key, multi-directional mouse wheel and DPI switches.
The underside comes fitted with a 8200DPS PRO-AIM Laser Sensor, which should provide us with a great level of control. To the right of that we have a twist lock compartment for installation of the four 5g weights.
Finally we have a dual set of light strips with four multi-colour LED’s (one in each corner). The lighting effect looks fantastic as it shifts and changes and is fully customisable through the included software.
