A Closer LookAfter removing the product from the inner packaging we are left with a very small headset.
Firstly, there are two jacks; one is for the audio (with the green dot) and one for the microphone (pink dot).
Moving up the cable to the in-line remote we find there is not too much to it in fact it only has a volume control, which is simple slide switch.
To the headset itself, which is, I am repeating for emphasis, very small. The headband is a very simple and of a light design which is just over an inch in width and only has a small amount of padding at the top. Of course like all headsets and headphones the sides can be lengthened easily.
What would normally be an ear cup is more like a block and as such this sits on top of your ears and not over them. For this reason they are very cushioned with a foam outer layer.
On the outside of the right-hand ear cup there is a Roccat logo and you can see the design that allows the ear cup to twist and pivot slightly, hopefully allowing for a comfortable fit.
On the outside of the left-hand ear cup is the microphone, which as you can read automatically mutes when in the up position. This microphone rotates and flexes slightly but does not allow for much positioning.
The cable is a very simple affair although a decent 2.5m in length.
