Roccat Leadr Wireless Gaming Mouse Now Available

The Roccat Leadr wireless gaming mouse is now available after months of waiting. It made its first appearance at CES 2017 in Las Vegas where Roccat showed off the what they believe is the most advanced wireless gaming mouse in the market. This mouse uses the Roccat “Owl-Eye sensor” which is a PixArt 3361 that has 250ips or 6.35 m/s maximum speed. It can also has a DPI range of 100 to 12,000 DPI. The Roccat Leadr also has adjustable lift-off distance and angle-snapping disabled to provide advanced gamers with the best tracking experience whether playing MMO, MOBA or FPS games.
Wired or Wireless Mode
To charge the Roccat Leadr, it is placed on the bundled dock that has LED indicators to show battery life. Aside from the charging dock, the Roccat Leadr can also be connected via USB for charging. In this mode, it can also act as if it is a wired gaming mouse and be used accordingly. There is no performance difference between playing the Roccat Leadr in wired or wireless mode with the exception of the 1000mAh battery being charged while plugged in. When it is in wireless mode, it uses 2.4GHz frequency for data transmission.

Since the mouse has a battery inside, it is heavier than most gaming mice at 134 grams (without cable). It measures 81 mm wide, 46 mm tall, and 129 mm long. Built-in is a 72MHz ARM Cortex MCU with 512KB onboard memory storage. Coupled with the Roccat Swarm software, this provides gamers with 11-button customizability and change presets which can be easily recalled or taken anywhere.
The Roccat Leadr has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $149.99 in North America and £139.99 in the UK.
