Roccat Lua + Kanga Mini Bundle Gaming Mouse Review

Introduction

Picking the right gaming mouse can be tricky, but what if you need something relatively simple, focused and also affordable for your gaming needs? The Roccat Lua looks set to tick all those boxes, with its wallet-friendly price tag, simplistic 3-button design, durable build quality and hopefully, great performance. To add to the overall value for money, the Lua even comes bundled with the Roccat Kanga gaming mousepad, making it an even more attractive option for budget-conscious gamers.

“What happens when the classic three-button mouse model is given ROCCAT’s award-winning design treatment? The Lua happens, that’s what. Sleek yet mighty, the Lua boasts a pinpoint-precise 2000dpi Pro-Optic (R2) sensor adjustable in seven incremental steps, housed in an ambidextrous, soft-touch design built around comfort, ease of use, and long-term gaming sessions.” – Roccat

Equipped with an optical sensor, soft-touch grip coating, durable switches and Roccat’s fantastic desktop software, you’ll have everything you need to get gaming in next to no time. Some may feel limited by the tri-button design, but for those who liked a simple mouse, especially for games like LoL and CS:GO, it’s going to be a tempting solution. So let’s move on and take a closer look at what it has to offer.

The packaging is very nicely designed, although it always is with Roccat products and you’ll find a nice image of the product, as well as a quick rundown of the main features on the front of the box.

Around the back, a quick technical breakdown, showing the DPI change button, ambidextrous ergonomics, and LED lighting.

In the box, you’ll find all the usual documentation, the hard-wired Lua mouse and the rather lovely quality Kanga mousepad.
