Team Roccat’s Pridestalker First eSports Pro to Officially Use Wireless Mouse

Team Roccat‘s Milo “Pridestalker” Wehnes just became the first eSports pro to officially use a wireless mouse. The weapon of choice is none other than Roccat’s recently announced Leadr wireless gaming mouse. Roccat aims to be a game-changer with the launch of this mouse. So an endorsement from a pro means a lot, even if that pro is in their stable. Performance is everything when it comes to eSports and there are no professional players who would put their record against hardware they do not trust.

Much work went on the new Leadr mouse so that the latency is cut down drastically, according to Roccat. Specifically, having a latency of under 10ms. This makes it indiscernible from wired mouse performance and the company is proud of this claim. Although the Leadr is not the company’s first wireless mouse, it is their first that is specifically designed for eSports performance.

Roccat Leadr Wireless Mouse Features

The Roccat Leadr wireless mouse uses a PixArt 3361 sensor, which the company dubbed “owl-eye”. It has 250ips or 6.35m/s maximum speed, with a CPI range of 100 to 12,000. For optimal use, it also features adjustable lift-off distance, and angle-snapping control. The wireless mouse can also turn into a wired mouse while charging. Users can simply plug-in the USB cable in front and use it regularly. For those who truly want to stick to its wireless aspect, there is also a nifty charging dock included. This dock has LED indicators which notify users of the battery life.

The Roccat Leadr has a manufacturer suggested retail price of $149.99 in North America and £139.99 in the UK
