ROCCAT Reveals Wireless Vulcan II Mini Air Keyboard

ROCCAT has revealed that its top-rated Vulcan II Mini Air keyboard has been given a new wireless model for those that hate having wires strewn across their desktops.

ROCCAT Vulcan II Mini Air Wireless

The ROCCAT Vulcan II Mini Air Wireless is the wireless version of the acclaimed Vulcan II Mini and is ROCCAT’s first foray into wireless keyboards. The Vulcan II Mini uses a 65% form factor with pre-lubricated Red or Brown TITAN II Optical Switches which deliver buttery smooth, light-speed response rates and are durable with a 150 million keystroke lifespan plus feature a transparent design for RGB lovers. On top of these switches are low-profile keycaps which in my personal opinion don’t quite work with full-sized switches and look a bit odd. For other looks, the keyboard features a premium aluminium top plate as well as beautiful AIMO RGB lighting powered by ROCCAT’s Swarm software.

Wireless Technology

Users can connect the Mini Air Wireless keyboard through ROCCAT’s gaming grade 2.4 GHz Stellar Wireless or seamlessly swap through three unique Bluetooth devices. Powering this board is a battery which provides over 30 hours of battery life with the RGB lighting on but without the RGB lighting it has the potential to reach a whopping 750 hours of battery life. Now the board doesn’t achieve this battery life by just turning off the RGB lighting on its own, it instead achieves it through another unique feature which is the inclusion of proximity sensors. These proximity sensors work in conjunction with ROCCAT’s swarm software to preserve battery life when you are away from your desk.

Price and Availability

If it wasn’t for the full-sized switches with low-profile keycaps I would be sold on this board as I’m quite fond of low-profile keyboards and currently own a Logitech G915. It definitely provides a unique look which I’ll admit I don’t hate, it just feels wrong.

The ROCCAT Vulcan II Mini Air Wireless is available in both white and black for an MSRP of $179.99. The board is available now for pre-order at roccat.com and participating retailers with a release date of July 19th 2023.
