Roccat has announced the new Kova gaming mouse featuring an ambidextrous design and streamlined shape to create maximum comfort across a wide range of grip styles. Additionally, the Kova utilizes a 3500 native dpi Pro-Optic r5 sensor which extends up to 7000 dpi for extreme sensitivity gameplay. To help with demanding tasks, the mouse is powered by a 72MHz Turbo Core V2 32-bit ARM-based MCU and contains 512KB of on-board memory.
The Kova also opts for a 12-bit data channel, 1000Hz polling rate, 1ms response time, 1.8m braided cable and employs 20G of acceleration. In the peripheral market, RGB lighing is the latest trend and embedded into the Kova. You can adjust the colour of the scroll wheel and mouse rim to individual shades or use visual lighting effects. Roccat’s Swarm software is an essential addition to adjust button arrangements, and other visual tweaks.
The Kova houses a wide array of programmable side buttons which are easily accessible without having to move your hand. This should make the device an excellent choice for various genres. Also, the mouse comes in either a white or black finish and is visually stunning. As white components become more popular, it’s imperative for manufacturers to create products to match a certain theme.
