I’ve avoided buying Grand Theft Auto V simply because there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that the game would be ported to PC eventually, I wanted my first experience of this title to be one of pure awesomeness, and to help me justify my efforts on building a new high-end gaming PC.
The team at Rockstar are pulling out all the stops on this project, having already exceeded themselves with what is possible on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, they’re now promising “across-the-board graphical and technical improvements to deliver a stunning new level of detail. Increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions”.
Gamers on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC will also be treated to new wildlife, an upgraded weather system, new damage effects and “an array of new details to discover”.
Not only that, but all the content, gameplay, weapons, jobs and more that has been released for the game so far will be available to the new editions too, but PC gamers will also get to reap the benefits of an exclusive video editor.
