Rosewill present their latest Gaming Super Tower computer case

The computer hardware manufacturer Rosewill has today announced their latest product in the computer case section with an larger version of their successful gaming computer case BLACKHAWK dubbed the BLACKHAWK-ULTRA.

Featuring pretty much the same things as the previous model, the BLACKHAWK-ULTRA is different when it comes to space. As a matter of fact, there is so much space added that you can mount a HPTX board as well as a second power supply. To be more accurate, with front and top panels this thing measures 240 x 635 x 660 mm (WxHxD) and weighs 16.6kg.

As stated above, the features a pretty much the same as the old one, but repeating them shouldn’t harm anyone, the BLACKHAWK-ULTRA is made out of steel coloured in black, the power supply is bottom mounted , while the case will accept motherboards with the format ATX, SSE CEB, E-ATX, XL-ATX and HPTX.

While there is no side window, the mesh does offer a view inside, unless you install the fans, a maximum of 16 fans can be installed, that is if you take the smallest size, while you’ll have space for four 140mm fans in the front divided in two layers outside the HDD cages (pre-installed), two pre-installed 230mm on the top while you can replace them by three 120 or 140mm fans, as for the side, you get one 230mm fan pre-installed, or you can replace it by nine 120mm fans, this ought to provide enough airflow. Let’s not forget the back fan for exhaust and the bottom fan for intake, none of which are included.

Staying on the outside, the front I/O is composed of two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports along the Audio in and out (AC97, HD), as for your ODD bays, you have four 5.25” with one featuring an adapter for a 3.5”.

Internally, you’ll find plenty of space with ten 3.5” HDD trays, ten expansion slots as well as a lot of cut out holes for cable managements, each of which placed for a different board format.

Let’s not forget that a gaming computer case is nothing without style, and this is why the included fans have red LEDs to bring out the light for a great gaming atmosphere.

The Rosewill BLACKHAWK-ULTRA is now available for the retail suggested price of $229.99.
