Rosewill Stealth Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Introduction

Rosewill Stealth Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Rosewill is one of the more popular chassis brands in the US, but in recent months, they’ve been working to bring their products over to the UK, and while we’re not seeing anything particularly new from the brand ourselves, technically all of their existing products are new products in a new market. We kick things off today with a look at the Rosewill Stealth, an affordable mid-tower for ATX gaming systems.

Equipped with room for an ATX PSU, (up to) an ATX motherboard, eight expansion slots, USB 3.0 support, plenty of storage space, and four pre-installed 120mm fans, it’s certainly well equipped. It’s nothing crazy in terms of specifications, but at least ticking all the boxes for the majority of mid-to-high budget system builds.

The left side panel features a good size clear perspex window, which will be ideal for showing off the design of your new graphic card(s), as well as some of the motherboard and CPU cooler. It’s fitted with thumbscrews too, so it’ll be nice and easy to get access to your system when you need it.

The right side panel has a slightly raised design, same as the left, but this also means it’ll free up a little extra cable management space behind the motherboard.

There are three 5.25″ drive covers on the front, one of which comes with a size adaptor for smaller devices such as card readers. There’s a lot of ventilation here too, which a push-click locking dust filter cover that can be removed without the use of tools.

Simply lift it out, and you can easily clean the filter, and also get access to the dual fan mounts behind it. Here you will find two pre-installed 120mm red LED fans.

A comprehensively equipped front I/O panel features dual channel fan control sliders, a SATA drive docking area, dual USB 3.0, single USB 2.0, HD audio, as well as the usual LEDs and power controls.

On the base of the chassis, you’ll find two slide-out dust filters, one for the PSU, and one more for the bottom fan/radiator mounts. Overall, this is a very well filtered chassis, so you should expect good clean airflow throughout.
