Rovio mixes things up a bit with Bad Piggies, is the ‘complete opposite’ of Angry Birds

Rovio Entertainment are mostly known for their smash hit ‘Angry Birds’, which has gone on to sell million upon millions of copies, and spawn countless sequels, plush toys, shows, an upcoming movie, and much more. But the developers haven’t stopped with Angry Birds, and now we’re seeing the new sure-to-be addictive, Bad Piggies.
Bad Piggies lets you play as the pigs, where you’ll have to build various contraptions and then ride them through levels to collect stars, eggs and blow up cases of TNT. Players are free to build flying, rolling, and rickety vehicles using a grid system, and then navigate your bad piggie through the level to score those elusive three stars.
Rovio EVP, Petri Järvilehto, has said that Bad Piggies and Angry Birds are “complete opposites”, adding “Angry Birds smash things up, Bad Piggies build stuff. The pigs are all about making plans and building things, even – and especially – when they don’t work!”
I don’t know if I’m personally excited over Bad Piggies, I spent countless hours on Angry Birds on my iPad. I three-starred every single level possible, and then realised how much time I must’ve pumped into the thing. I think I’m going to try and stay away from Bad Piggies as much as I can!
