RPCS3 Is Getting Better and Better, Now Boots God of War 3

RPCS3 now supports Triple A games.
It looks like the good people behind the RPCS3 emulator are on the right track with their outstanding project. We already know that the emulator can play Tekken 6 flawlessly. We also know that the project offers support for ridiculously high resolutions. Now, Triple-A games are on their way to full playability. Granted, that’s not the case just yet, but famous titles such as God of War 3 are finally bootable. Other partially supported games include PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Uncharted, Gran Turismo HD Concept, WipeOut, and Infamous. We still have some waiting time ahead before we’ll be able to play them properly on PC, though.
What’s holding us back?
Even though some of them boot up, these games suffer from serious drawbacks at the time of writing. Fine examples include graphical glitches and very poor performance. However, the team behind RPCS3 has improved compatibility for quite a few games before: Ratchet & Clank, Heavenly Sword, Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls 2. If you really want to put the emulator through its paces, all you have to do is load up the God of War Collection. These games are fully supported by RPCS3, which is great news for classic God of War fans. The team also released a video that shows off some of the most important games running on the project’s latest version.
