RTX 4080 Super Rumoured To Be Cheaper Than RTX 4080

NVIDIA’s upcoming Super series graphics cards aren’t too far away with CES 2024 beginning in just a few days, but there are still leaks getting out as with any new release. Today these leaks have revealed the biggest concern among consumers, pricing, which has been a bit infamous with the RTX 40 series.

RTX 40 Super Series Prices Leaked

MEGAsizeGPU, which is a reoccurring name when it comes to early hardware information, recently shared some rumoured MSRP for the RTX 40 Super series. The three models within this include the RTX 4080 Super at $999, RTX 4070 Ti Super at $799, and the RTX 4070 Super at $599. The key takeaway from this is that the RTX 4080 Super is $200 cheaper than its non Super counterpart which launched at $1,200, and the 4070 Super and Ti Super are both the same as their original MSRP.

Both the 4070 Ti Super and 4080 Super are expected to replace their existing models whilst the 4070 Super is said to be co-existing with its non Super variant so there are some expectations of a price cut for the non-super variant. MEGAsizeGPU went on further to mention how “Nvidia’s strategy is that they will never price-cut their products officially. They will launch new products with the same performance at lower prices instead.” alongside the claims of the 4070 Ti-S being on par with the 4080, and the 4070S being on par with the 4070 Ti.
