NVIDIA’s RTX 40 series lineup is mostly all on the market with the exception of a possible 4050 and Ti variants such as the RTX 4080 Ti which has received some new rumoured information with a possible early 2024 launch date.
Information surrounding the RTX 4080 Ti has been shared by reliable leaker MEGAsizeGPU (Via VideoCardz) who has claimed that there will be an RTX 4080 Ti or maybe even Super, in early 2024. Whilst MEGAsizeGPU states Super here, I don’t think NVIDIA will consider it as an option as Ti just makes a lot more sense. This GPU is also claimed to be based on the AD102 GPU which is used on the RTX 4090 and features 76.3B transistors and a die size of 608mm2. Additionally, the claim is of a TGP below 450 and a price range which is similar to the $1199 MSRP of the RTX 4080.
Other specifications for this card are a mystery but there should be a fairly solid jump in performance to bridge the gap between the 4080 and 4090. Placing it between these cards also throws the prediction of 20GB of GDDR6X memory which sits comfortably between the 24GB and 16GB of the 4090 and 4080 respectively.
For now, these are just rumours and NVIDIA could just decide to never release this card so take it all with a grain of salt.
