RTX 5090 – Has A New Driver Improved Performance & The 1% Lows?
A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a stealth-survival horror adventure that serves as a direct sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. Players continue the harrowing journey of Amicia and Hugo de Rune, two young siblings navigating a plague-ridden France in the 14th century. The game features stunning visuals, intense action sequences, and a gripping narrative that explores themes of family, resilience, and the darkness within.

Kicking things off with A Plague Tale and here we can see that at 1080p, we’ve not really seen much change, coming in what I’d deem as identical in both the averages and the 1% lows as it falls within margin of error.
While 1440p saw a slight difference of just under 4%, but we actually saw the 1% low decrease by almost 7% now at 111 frames per second, so it seems the game has given with one hand, and taken with another.
Then as we look at 4K, the gap in the averages increases to 7% with the new driver whilst the lows see an increase of 8% making it the biggest increase that we saw here.
