Rumor: Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero Might Be Coming to Nintendo Switch 2
There’s a rumor going around that Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero could be one of the many third-party games coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. This information comes from an insider named eXtas1s, who claims that this fighting game will be one of the launch titles for the new console from Nintendo.
The Spanish insider mentions that Bandai Namco will be one of the key publishers for the Nintendo Switch 2, thanks to its strong relationship with Nintendo. For some time now, there have been rumors of possible ports of popular games like Tekken 8 and Elden Ring for the new console. According to eXtas1s, along with these two games, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will also debut on the Nintendo Switch 2 and could even be among the first games to release for the console.
eXtas1s’s Comments
In a recent YouTube video, eXtas1s explained, “Bandai Namco is a key partner for Nintendo. They not only develop games for Nintendo but also publish major titles for their platforms. There have been lots of speculations and even rumors about the arrival of Elden Ring and Tekken 8 on the Nintendo Switch 2. Well, these two games are definitely coming, but we’re forgetting about one that I’ve been told is confirmed to release right around the console’s launch: Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.”
Of course, this is just a rumor, so we should take it with caution, just like other Nintendo Switch 2-related speculations. But it’s certainly plausible. After all, all recent Dragon Ball games have also been released on Nintendo consoles, and Bandai Namco would likely want to take advantage of the success of Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero, which has already sold over 5 million copies across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S just a few months after its release.
