Rumor: NVIDIA RTX 5060 and RTX 5060 Ti to Be Announced on April 15, Ti Models Available the Next Day
The upcoming NVIDIA RTX 5060 and its Ti versions are expected to be announced in April. This news contradicts previous rumors suggesting a March release during the GTC event. It seems NVIDIA has changed its plans, and these launches will now take place in April. The official announcement is scheduled for April 15, where we will see all three models at once.
Release Dates and VRAM Options
The RTX 5060 Ti models will be available right after the announcement, on April 16. There will be two versions of the Ti models—one with 16 GB of VRAM and another with 8 GB of VRAM. The RTX 5060 model, which will only feature 8 GB of VRAM, won’t be available until May. Interestingly, NVIDIA seems to have aligned the release for the 16 GB Ti model on April 16, with no staggered release date for different versions.
Pricing and Availability
NVIDIA has set a requirement for manufacturers to have at least one model available at the PVPR (Recommended Retail Price) on the release day, though the exact price is not yet known. This could benefit early buyers, as prices for these models might increase quickly after launch, moving away from the recommended price.
