Rumour – Nokia Planning 5.2-Inch Lumia 825

According to a report by Dospy.com Nokia is working on a Lumia 825 smartphone with an enlarged 5.2 inch display. The display is reported to have a 720p resolution which is going to offer a really nice PPI for the 5.2 inch display, around 282 PPI.

The handset is part of Nokia’s Lumia 800 series meaning it isn’t quite the best of the Lumia range, its more of an upper mid-range handset. Despite that it should be including a reasonably high performance CPU, a Snapdragon 400 based CPU is expected and more specifically a 1.2GHz Quad Core is rumoured. Considering the current line-up of Windows phones is relatively lacking in large display models this is a welcome addition from Nokia.

There are no official details on when we should expect this handset to arrive other than Q4 of this year. That said if the handset does turn out to be true we could see more details emerge later on this year. We will of course bring you those as soon as we get them.
