HIS is one of the most reputable AIB partners which specialises in creating custom AMD solutions. The company’s latest offering was recently pictured and designed for users building a small form factor PC or HTPC. The HIS RX 460 Slim-iCooler OC 4GB utilises a more compact version of the iCooler which seems a better option given the RX 460’s thermal output. Officially codenamed the HS-460R4TCNR, the card has a metallic fan shroud and unusual aesthetic with a lion decal. This is certainly going to add a unique touch to your build.
On another note, the product’s cooling solution can detect low-utilisation scenarios and switch the fan off completely once the temperatures drop below 60. Rather humorously, the original listing says 600C, but I’m fairly certain that’s a typo or issue caused by caching. The HIS RX 460 Slim-iCooler OC has a 1220MHz factory overclock core and 4GB of GDDR5 memory running at 7000MHz. Connectivity-wise, the graphics card houses a DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b and dual-link DVI-D. Sadly, the listing has since been removed but you can access the cached page here. As you might expect, there aren’t any details regarding pricing or availability but I’m expecting more information to be revealed rather soon. Personally, I love the card’s design and looking forward to testing it first hand.
