This game is far from well optimised, even so long after release, but it’s savage on even the fastest hardware on the market. Ryzen decimated the competition at 1080p, although all chips managed a minimum above 60fps and an average that is over 90fps.
Pushing up the resolution, and once again we see that the increased core count just paves the way for victory here once again.
Overclocking the CPU made little difference for the 1800X in all the Deus Ex tests, it’s clear the GPU is getting maxed out, and those extra CPU cores are what are bringing the benefits here.
Interestingly, 21:9 didn’t give Ryzen a 4 out of 4 for Deus Ex, dropping behind the 5820K for this test, which we certainly didn’t expect.
