S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat Misery Mod 2.2 Released

GSC Gameworld’s S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat came out in 2009 but fans keep it very much alive via mods. Misery Development’s own Misery mod is now on version 2.2 and available to play for the game. This is not just a simple mod however, as it changes almost every game aspect. This covers music, weapons, textures, sound effects, A.I., items, weather, and much more.

The original Misery mod came out in 2013. Since then it has grown quite a bit. This mod is meant to provide a more challenging experience to the game. The survival aspect of this mod is very much the point. The resources are slim so the player has to be creative in dealing with obstacles. The latest updates makes it a bit easier to reclaim items however, as parts can be broken down in the field. This eliminates the need to haul large items back before it can be broken down. The latest update also improves the repair feature, allowing for full 100% refurbishment.

You can download the latest version of the Misery mod from their ModDB page.
