Sabrent Releases 6-Port USB-C Hub With M.2 Slot

Sabrent has today released its new 6-Port USB-C Hub which also features an M.2 slot.

This new USB hub from Sabrent comes in a high-quality aluminium frame and is an excellent option for expanding your connectivity options as well as storage on your MacBook, Laptop or other portable devices. The hub connects via USB-C with up to 90W of bypass power delivery. The hub features a 1 GbE RJ45 port, one USB-C (PD 3.0), one USB 2.0, two USB 3.0 and one HDMI 2.0. This device allows for file transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps on USB 3.0 or 480 Mbps on USB 2.0.

Internal M.2

The additional feature of this hub is the inclusion of an internal M.2 slot allowing for portable storage and connectivity options. The M.2 is installed into an underside compartment that features a thermal pad for additional cooling using the aluminium frame. Users can equip any SSD including 2242, 2260 and 2280 form factors and they offer up to 5 Gbps speeds.

  • The SSD connects at up to 5Gbps and can be easily installed, with the slot supporting the M.2 2242 / 2260 / 2280 form factors.
