SABRENT has revealed its new Rocket RGB USB-C 20 Gbps M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD Enclosure which not only boasts high speeds, but RGB lighting effects as well.
This new enclosure takes SABRENT’s existing enclosure further by increasing its 10 Gbps speed to 20 Gbps through a USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 connection. This enclosure supports M.2 and SATA drives, the latter limited to 6 Gbps, with full plug and play support including TRIM and UASP.
Due to newer and faster SSDs building up lots of heat, consideration has also been taken with the inclusion of built-in thermal padding to help dissipate heat through the aluminium exterior of the enclosure. The enclosure’s other key feature is its RGB lighting effects which will change depending on the status of the drive.
The SABRENT Rocket RGB USB-C 20 Gbps M.2 SATA/NVMe SSD Enclosure is available in a standard model and a special edition model with an iridescent purple hue both for $49.99 at Amazon US
