Sabrent, a leading provider of storage and memory solutions has a today announced that its new Gen 5 ROCKET 5 SSD is available for pre-order now featuring speeds up to 14 GB/s and capacities up to 4TB
The Rocket 5 has been released to push into the upper limits of PCIe 5.0 with transfer speeds of up to 14GB/s read and 12GB/s write through the use of the Phison PS5026-E26 controller that also allows for up to 1,400,000 IOPS random read and write. The drive also makes use of LPDDR4 DRAM and Micron 232L TLC NV Memory
High speed SSDs also come with high temperatures, which is why Sabrent includes an aesthetically pleasing, highly functional heatsink to make sure that your drive never throttles. This heatsink makes use of a combination of top-grade thermally conductive materials and an efficient dual-heat pipe design to help maintain the Rocket 5 within an ideal temperature zone.
The Rocket 5 is available for pre-order now in capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB each with a 5 year warranty.
