Pricing and Final Thoughts

The Sabrent Rocket with 4TB capacity isn’t cheap, but that is to be expected with such a capacity. At the time of this review, it can be yours for £749.99 in the UK and $849.99 in the US. If you’re looking for something a little cheaper, take a look at the Rocket Q drive which is about 100 bucks cheaper for 4TB capacity. That one is also available with a whopping 8TB if you need more.

Final Thought

Getting more capacity in your system has become a lot easier since Sabrent really entered the market with their latest generation drives. They offer a lot of capacity and an affordable price. Well, whether this 4TB version is affordable or not with a price of £750 is a matter of opinion, but it is when you consider what you get. M.2 slots are limited on your motherboard and a drive like this allows you to take maximum advantage of what you have. Have all your games and apps installed at once without the need to prioritise is a joy.

The Sabrent Rocket 4TB delivers a great performance on top of the capacity. It scored well in all our tests which is a bit surprising considering the size. Usually, when we go past the 1TB marker, drives tend to slow down a bit. But the Sabrent Rocket 4TB kept up everywhere with great results. The M.2 2280 form factor also offers maximum compatibility as it will fit in pretty much any modern system.

Sabrent sweetens the deal with the Rocket too, as they do with all their SSDs. They have included a copy of Acronis True Image which is cloning software. This makes the transfer from your old drive very easy and it is generally a great piece of software to have.

Should I Purchase One?

Are you in the market for maximum capacity for your system? Can you afford it at £187.50 per TB capacity? Then the answer is yes, simple as that. The Sabrent Rocket is an amazing drive with big capacity.

Pros

  • Large capacity option
  • Good performance
  • High compatibility with M.2 2280 form factor
  • Good quality in drive and package
  • Acronis True Image included

Cons

  • High price due to large capacity

“Sabrent offers both performance and capacity with the Rocket 4TB drive. Maximise the available NVMe storage in your system with this drive.”
