Package and Accessories
The packaging is less glamourous than the drive itself, but it is still an important part of any product. Sabrent is also great at this and packs the drives in several layers of protection.
First, you get a schrinkwrap wrapped box which protects everything within from dirt and other miscolourisations along the way. This is also where you’ll find a sticker which informs you that Acronis True Image is included.
Once unwrapped, we have a cardboard box which has the main features listed. This includes the form factor, interface, capacity, and there’s also a picture of the included drive on both sides.
Unpacking it from here and we get to the metal box which holds the actual drive. This box gives an extra feeling for premium as well as the best protection for the drive on its travels to you.
Opening up the box and we see the drive well seated in a foam section, ready to grab and install.
Besides the drive itself, you also find a quick installation guide inside the box. But that’s it. Then again, what more would you want from a drive.
The manual is printed in colour and is very detailed. This should allow close to anyone to install the drive themselves.
