Saints Row III PC Review

Gameplay is where Saints Row really shines through as one of the best games this generation, this is in part to the fact the game seems completely aware that it is in fact a game. The developers have pulled no punches in hiding the fact that this is a form of digital entertainment, freeing them from the restraints of realism that you often find in games like Grand Theft Auto IV.
Free of the restraint of reality the game manages to tick off many of the popular genres on the market, not to mention blatantly rip off some others too but all with a tongue in cheek attitude that only makes the experience ever more entertaining to play out.
Mexican wresting, virtual reality missions akin to Tron, tank battles, fighter jets, hover bikes, large scale warfare, sky diving, sky diving while in a tank, chariot races, zombies, base jumping, high speed pursuit, run and gun style survial TV game show missions, these are just some of things you’ll find in Saints Row and the level of mission diversity really keeps you wanting to find out just where the story will take you next.
The city is huge too and there is plenty to see and do around Still Water, the vehicle choices are expansive and for the most part highly customisable, meaning you’ll always have a fun way of navigating the city.
Your crew can be upgraded, as too can your own skills to be able to wield bigger and better weapons, everything from sex toy shaped melee weapons to military air strikes are easily accessible through the game and its missions, in short there is plenty for you to unlock and utilize to play the way you want to play.
