Samsung’s Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Galaxy Nexus has enjoyed the fruits of its labor, being the first ICS-powered device from Google and Samsung, paving the way for more ICS-powered devices in the future. But, unfortunately, it only launched as a 16GB model, with the 32GB model being an exclusive to Verizon. The Verizon Galaxy Nexus came with 32GB of storage, but the rest of the world and all GSM models only feature 16GB of storage.
But today, online retailer Expansys-USA, Samsung have canceled the item. Of course, it’s not all doom and gloom, Samsung may have just delayed it, but there are a number of people who have been anxiously waiting for the larger of the two Galaxy Nexus’.
The kicker? The Galaxy Nexus doesn’t feature a microSD slot, so there’s no form of expanding the storage up from the default 16GB. There has been an official statement fro mCorey at Expansys, where he has said:
We’ve just been notified this morning that Samsung have dropped the Galaxy Nexus 32GB from production. At this time it looks like they will not be releasing it. Not good news at all.

This spells bad news for those waiting for the 32GB Galaxy Nexus, but now this might make you wait for Mobile World Congress in a fortnights time and look at some other tasty Ice Cream Sandwich-rocking devices.
