Galaxy Note 8
The long awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been the talk of the mobile world lately. Sources suggest that the device will be revealed at Samsung’s ‘Unpacked’ event on August 23. However, the majority of the details of the phone are already known.
End of an Explosive Problem
Fortunately for the consumers, Samsung has promised that this device will certainly not explode. The previous Galaxy Note 7, had a major issue with exploding batteries. Of course, this caused a mass of controversy with damaged property and injuries occurring. However, the Note 8 has a new battery that has been quality approved. The Note 8 will come as part of the success of the Galaxy S8 and S8+. This could mean that Samsung can finally put the exploding phone saga behind them.
Flagship Specifications
Last month, notorious phone leaker Evan Blass confirmed practically the whole spec sheet of the Note 8. Of course, this could still change last-minute. However, for now we know that the details include a 6.3 inch infinity display, 64GB of storage, dual rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 8 core 2.45 GHz processor and a hefty 3,300 mAh battery to power it all. If these are right, we are set to have a real contender for the top spot in the mobile industry. The Snapdragon 835 is a super fast, super efficient processor that packs a real punch and lots of extra features. We certainly hope that the Note 8 will follow on with the same look of the Note 7/S8/S8+ with the super sharp display.
Unpacked Samsung Event
Every year Samsung host an ‘Unpacked’ event, to allow consumers to see the latest devices and product launches. The invitations have been sent out to members of media for August 23. Although, details of just what is to be expected from the event is next to nothing. With that said however, Samsung presented us with a poster with a device on its side with an edge to edge display and a stylus. This would strongly suggest the Note 8 is the key topic of the event. As usual, we will cover the launches as they happen. Will your next phone be a Galaxy Note 8? Can existing Note 7 user’s can regain their trust with the company?
