Samsung are a go-to for many for their storage products which often offer the quality and speed that both gamers and professionals desire. Today they have released their new T9 portable SSD in capacities of up to 4TB and 2,000 MB/s speeds.
The new T9 SSD from Samsung is built to offer high-capacity and high-speed storage whilst on the go. With capacities of 1TB, 2TB and 4TB, this drive is capable of speeds of up to 2,000 MB/s through the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface which is around two times faster than the previous T7 model. This high-speed storage is encased within a sleek and sturdy frame with curved diagonal lines and reverse carbon patterns for a fabric-like feel. This case allows the drive to withstand drops of up to three metres high plus with Samsung’s Dynamic Thermal Guard, it keeps the temperatures under control and performance high.
“With advances in high-resolution photos and the rising popularity of 4K videos, professional
content creators now face the necessity of transferring large amounts of data on a frequent
basis,” said Hangu Sohn, Vice President of Memory Brand Product Biz Team at Samsung
Electronics. “The T9 offers a solution for professionals to alleviate the challenges that come
with managing their data, and Samsung will continue to provide optimized memory solutions
that enable professionals to fully concentrate on achieving their creative potential.”
The Portable T9 SSD features an MSRP of £117.49 for the 1TB, £199.99 for the 2TB, and £362.79 for the 4TB, the Samsung Portable SSD T9 will be available to consumers in October 2023.
