Samsung has unveiled a massive new Class 10 MicroSD card, boasting 256GB of storage space. The EVO Plus 256GB microSD card – which can hold the equivalent of around 55,200 photos, 12 hours of 4K UHD video, 33 hours of 1080p video, 46 hours of 720p video, or 23,500 mp3s – is the largest card in its class, using Samsung’s advanced V-NAND technology, and has read/writes speeds of 95MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively.
The UHS-1, (U3) compatible card is waterproof, temperature-proof, X-ray-proof, and magnet-proof, and its high capacity makes it perfect recording and storing HD and 4K video on the go.
