Today Samsung has revealed its new portable T5 EVO SSD with a massive 8TB capacity within a compact format.
The T5 EVO is Samsung’s latest portable SSD which utilises USB 3.2 Gen 1 to provide data transfer speeds up to 3.8 times faster than external HDDs with sequential read & write speeds of up to 460 MB/s. It features capacities of up to 8TB allowing users to store an immense amount of data within a small pocket-sized format. It measures 95 x 40 x 17mm (WxLxD) and weighs 102g and features a black frame with a titan grey ring for an overall premium look that can be strapped to a backpack. The metal body and rubberized surface also work to protect against external shocks giving you confidence when accidents happen.

Its capacity of up to 8TB, fast speeds, compact design and data protection from external shocks are well-suited for users who want to store and access data anywhere, anytime.”
