Samsung’s “The Frame” Wall-mounted 4K UHD TV Now Available

Samsung‘s The Frame 4K UHD TV blends into the living room more so than any other television before it. It is intentionally designed to be less like a traditional TV and more like a framed painting. While some may not find this idea revolutionary, many users who prefer the TV to not be the centerpiece of the living room will be happy. When the TV is not used, it looks just like any other artwork displayed at home.
The Frame is the brainchild of famed Swiss designer Yves Behar, who created the SAYL chair for Herman Miller. Behar is not a stranger to high-tech industrial design as his past clients also include Western Digital, GE, and Kodak. Unlike other TVs, The Frame has interchangeable bezels with different color grain options. These are available separatelyfor $199 each and includes beige wood grain, walnut or white color options. Users can display pieces of art on the screen as a screen saver. There are over 100 art pieces pre-loaded already but users can also upload their own via USB.
