The Marvell controller is able to offer high levels of read and write performance of over 400MB/s with file sizes as small as 8KB. Overall the drive was able to push out nearly 530MB/s read and 490MB/s sequentially.

As expected, we find that the X210 is just below the Extreme II due to its reworked firmware and trade-off for a longer life span and reliability.
