Sandy Bridge-E to arrive November the 15th

Ahead of the news that AMD is struggling to get its Bulldozers out on time Intel is continuing with its punctual product delivery. Intel plans to release the new Sandy Bridge-E processors on week 46 of 2011 or the week beginning November the 15th. Intel will also have its new range of desktop motherboards to support these new processors ready on the same day. These new high end processors are aimed at the workstation and enthusiast market since the first releases include two extreme edition 6 core processors.

The processors that will first arrive will be the 6 core i7-3960X, i7-3930K and the quad core i7-3820. Intel will be supporting these new processors on the X79 chipset and they will have the DX79SI and DX79TO desktop boards ready for these processor’s release.
