Sapphire Edge HD2 Mini PC Review

From a first glance, the Edge HD2 is extremely small, just like the original Edge PC and includes a smooth, soft, rubbery texture to it which is perfect incase it gets thrown about or damaged as it adds some extra protection to your PC.

On the side, we simply find a power button and hard drive activity LED.

The opposite side simply includes relevant barcodes and serial numbers including a Microsoft Windows license code.

The top and bottom of the PC both incorporate some ventilation ports to provide cooling to the device, as you have to appreciate a PC as small as this will require some form of airflow. Also on the bottom is a screw point for mounting the vertical base onto.

The front of the PC looks very simple but actually includes a hidden panel covering away two USB 2.0 ports if needed.

The rear of the PC is where we find its variety of connectivity options including VGA for the nostalgic users, whereas most will find the HDMI more appealing. Also featured are another two USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit LAN, DC In and headphone and microphone ports.

As stated earlier, some users will find the VESA mount a real godsend, but sadly due to the sheer size of my television, I was forced to use the stand that holds the PC up vertically, but still looks the business and really shows off the styling behind the Edge HD2.
